By 2050, around 153 million people worldwide will be living with dementia. There is no cure available and it is easy to imagine that dementia will play a role at some point in the lives of most of us - whether through a loved one or even ourselves. And that's why we're running Dam to Dam Loop this year! As part of the Amsterdam UMC team, we run to raise money for dementia research. While this initiative funds human-focused research, we also run to acknowledge the animals who suffer with dementia in silence.
